Ceci Martinez-Gomez, Jessica Lee, and I have begun a new outreach effort as part of our NSF Dimensions of Biodiversity project (). We call this the Methylothon: a multi-way competition between natural isolates of Methylobacterium collected by high school students, so far having been run by Jessica in the San Francisco area.
